Outback Sports Bar & Restaurant

Outback Sports Bar is an absolute gem. As an Aussie, I felt right at home here. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed, the staff are very friendly and easy going, and the whole place just has a good vibe. The steak was spot on, nice and thick, which is actually pretty hard to find in Pattaya, and the beers were icy cold. It is a great spot whether you are having a chill meal with friends, with your partner, or even on your own. You will always find someone to have a yarn with, and it is good value as well. If you want a proper steak and a beer while you watch some sport, this is the place to go. Five stars from me. Keep up the great work, Outback Sports Bar.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outback is a classic spot in Pattaya if you’re looking for hearty food and a lively atmosphere. I had the pork chop with grilled zucchini, roasted garlic, mashed potatoes, and gravy, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The portion size is generous and feels like true comfort food. The vanilla milkshake was also excellent, creamy and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The atmosphere is exactly what you expect from an Aussie-style sports bar, big screens showing live sports, a friendly crowd, and a casual, welcoming vibe. Great for both eating and watching the game. Service was quick and attentive despite the busy environment. Aesthetically very pleasant, Well decorated with good lighting. Nice open air but with plenty of large fans to keep cool. Great little area for children with trampolines, slides, video game station and claw machines. Food- My pork chop was a touch overdone thus making it a little dry but as I chewed down and got into the bone area that was more succulient it was nice and you could tell it was a good quality chop. My Thai wife had Tom Yum and feedback on this was positive, the seafood was fresh and the taste good and she is critical when we pick western food based restaurants to eat and she ops for thai. We also had calamari and chicken wings starters. The chicken wings I went with honey mustard glaze and have to say they we're the best for me and I enjoyed them. Service- This is what has swung me to 4 stars instead of 5. So we are eating with my 7 month old daughter who we have just started on solid foods so I asked the waitress what vegetables it had and she pointed to various veg such as broccoli, carrots and cauliflower so I thought great that will be something I can squash for her to have a few mouthfuls. This also had a choice of mash or fries and I requested mash. When it arrived I had no mash and was informed the waitress had substituted the mash for the veggies when the impression was given these vegetables came with the chop as standard so I requested the mash and was a little disappointed to be charged an additional 80bht for this error in communication. For drinks I had a speckled hen, this was pricey at 250 a pint but I wasn't passing the opportunity to not get one of my favourite beers on draught. This sadly pulled flat and was lacking in life but in fairness they offered to change that to something else but I stuck to it as it still tasted like speckled hen if I had left it stood for a while. Overall experience was pleasant and I will visit again, they have a great menu and I would like to see how their sunday carvery shapes up as I'm yet to find as a Yorkshire man living in Thailand a decent Yorkshire pudding, also the all you can eat wing wednesday looks a good promotion. Initially I wanted the tomahawk chop that was advertised on the large led screen on the roadside but was Informed that had been discontinued.

What a pleasant surprise! Stumbled in at 9am, surprised they served steak, which turned out to be great. Very clean and nicely decorated. Big kids area with playground, trampolines etc. Well done, well done!

Delicious food with huge portions .I couldn’t finish it all by myself! The staff are very friendly and always smiling. You can sit inside with air conditioning or outside, both are nice.

Came all the way from Bangkok just for this! It’s my second time eating it, and it’s still incredibly delicious. Even bringing it back to eat in the car tastes just as good as having it fresh at the restaurant.

Lovely cosy vibe, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with friends. Just tried the Sunday roast – super delicious and very aroi! Highly recommend. Ps: good to have a drink as well
